About us
ORBIT” has been a well-known brand of hose clips in world markets for more than 60 years.
It was established in the UK in the 1960s and since then has been well known for its reliability and high quality. At that time, ORBIT was among the very few manufacturers in the world who made hose clamps. It did not take long, before ”ORBIT hose clamps” were widely accepted in the UK, due to their high quality, and market share has expanded rapidly worldwide.
In 1985, ”ORBIT” has relocated all manufacturing facilities to Thailand. The new production facility in Thailand continued to produce products of the same high standard as were previously made in the UK. Additionally, by relocating to Thailand, ”ORBIT” could produce hose clamps more competitively. From the new Bangkok base, ”ORBIT” could continue servicing existing customers in Europe and furthermore develop new markets throughout the ASEAN region and subsequently, the World.
Today, “ORBIT hose clamps” are widely exported to many countries on various continents and are accepted as a competitive, high quality product. In 2016, we are the first BSI Kitemark™ certified hose clamp manufacturer in Asia. In 2019 we are IATF 16949 certified for automotive industries. Our main markets are ranging from Middle East, Africa, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, Japan and North America. ORBIT hose clips are accepted and distributed to various industries including hardware, tooling, agricultural, automotive, marine and also supply directly to several OEM manufacturers.
